Just 5 years ago, if you asked someone if they knew what a short sale was, most likely they would think it was some sort of product discount or marketing campaign for a big chain store. But these days, short sales (a.k.a. short payoff) are subjects discussed around the office water cooler.
That being said, short sales are still mystifying and complicated for the general public. No two short sales are created equally and so it is extremely important, when buying or selling a home using a short sale, to use a Realtor who is experienced and educated in short sales for the best possible outcomes.
TW Real Estate Group has been involved with short sales since 2007 when most other Realtors were more like the general public and hadn’t even heard of a short sale. The founder – Tiffany Wilson – received her Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification from the National Association of Realtors. She also works with team members in the industry who are experienced with short sales - negotiators, lenders, and escrow officers.
Short sales make up a substantial part of the current real estate market and they aren’t going away anytime soon. We aim to provide home Sellers and Buyers with up to date information on short sales so that they can make informed and comfortable decisions.
